Many times, we have to do things, and activities for others, call it socialising or the basic human need to tick the boxes. During those not-so-favorable times and moments, our patience is tested and it affects our mental well-being and peace of mind. So, I have learned the art of IGNORANCE, trust me it’s a BLISS. You cannot please everyone; someone or the other might not like you and have the best interest for you, but you must live and ignore those who love hurting you.
The power of smiling is most difficult to get but once you have mastered the art, there’s no looking back. I Learned the art of Ignorance a bit too late, after losing a lot, after giving in a lot, and after a lot of humiliation. Well, everything said and done there comes a moment in your life when you realize self-worth and organically learn to adapt and IGNORE.
There is an important lesson to learn while learning to brush off negativity with a smile and not allow others to pull you down: love yourself. Consider this: when you appreciate who you are, it is much simpler to ignore those against you and live your life on your terms. That smile you wore as a shield? It’s powered by the love you have for yourself.
So why is self-love so important? It’s like your own superhero cape. It enables you to stand firm while the world attempts to push you around. Learning to put aside the views of others begins with realizing your worth. It’s not about being a rebel, but about staying loyal to yourself and saying to everyone, “Hey, Live your life and kindly LIVE it, happily! 🙂
Sure, there may be times when the world expects one thing and you pick another; that’s the beauty of it. It’s your path, your choices, and your narrative.
