As I sit alone, I can hear kids playing somewhere nearby, the cold breeze and laughter around. It was all so different last year, this exact time. It was so much fuller and happier. It’s a complete full circle, nothing has changed in general but everything has changed, personally.
You look at yourself, practically every day in front of the mirror, right? A few days you feel that Wow, I look lovely, and on a few you just don’t feel too great, well then also more or less it is the same. Well, my friend, after those 365 days you realize that Oh! A lot has changed, not drastically but organically. Not feeling the same way anymore, feeling detached, and lacking excitement are some of the normal feelings, nowadays. What’s happening to us? To everyone outside, we are fine but to our soul, finding answers every day.
Life is a tapestry woven with threads of change, each one leaving its mark on the fabric of our being. As we go through the ebb and flow of time, we have experiences that shape our perceptions and redefine our sense of ourselves. From moments of triumph to times of adversity, every twist and turn shapes us into the people we are intended to be. We, like clay in the hands of a skillful potter, are continuously sculpted by the forces of evolution, adjusting to our ever-changing landscape.
In this furnace of transformation, we find the human spirit’s determination and the potential to evolve. Challenges become chances for self-discovery, while defeats open the path for new strengths. Each day, we lose layers of our past selves, becoming stronger, smarter, and more compassionate.
