Confession of a Social Butterfly… EX-Social butterfly…

A big personality once told this,” You come to this world, alone, you will go, alone”. I don’t know who and when this was said, but I do know that the personality faced a lot in life and learned from his/her experiences and thus quoted this famous line.

Way back in my Era, I would dread the idea of venturing out alone. Oh god, walking down the lane alone? Eating alone? Do your stuff alone? I can never do this, it’s so depressing… Kitni stupid thi mein ( how stupid of me to think like that). Cut to the present, sitting in a corner, very well all alone, articulating my thoughts about being ALONE—a feeling which is a blessing and a bane. When you learn to stay alone and when you get too comfortable with the idea of being Alone, it scares people around you.

Is it okay to romanticize being alone? The comfort in eating alone or just staying there. Well, no one can hurt you that way. Since when did we become a generation of loners?

Is it always after being hurt? Emotionally and mentally tired? I chose to be alone after numerous tries to be heard. I chose to be alone after being let down by those who said,” I can’t live without you” and then disappearing.

Well, it’s not that bad after all, it’s Independence, liberating, and peaceful.

Finding calmness in solitude is a revelation—a safe haven where one can confront their deepest thoughts without external distractions. True strength emerges during these solitary moments. Accepting isolation is not an escape from the world, but rather a brave confrontation with oneself, a voyage of self-discovery and growth. Never fear the stillness or the darkness that lurks within; instead, use the power of isolation to confront their demons, emerging stronger, wiser, and more resilient than ever. In the calm of solitude, one discovers not only peace but also the courage to face life’s obstacles head-on, coming out over their inner struggle.

Being alone does not imply loneliness; rather, it provides an opportunity for reflection and self-renewal. It is an opportunity to grow one’s business and create self-love and acceptance. Individuals who embrace isolation learn to rely on their strength and perseverance, resulting in a renewed sense of independence and empowerment.

So, instead of avoiding solitude, let us embrace it as a great tool for personal development and inner tranquillity. In the solitude of self-discovery, one can gather the confidence to face their anxieties, heal their wounds, and emerge as their most true and strong self.

“ Hey! It’s been long since I heard from you, so what’s happening? Well, it’s been long since I chose peace over chaos and silence over rejection. It’s been long since I learned the power of being alone as no one can hurt you that way”-RVA
